The balls seen in the video are our original size for Petanque which uses a 73mm (3 inch dia) ball. They are sold for bocce as well as they are ideal for smaller hands.

The balls are made of a high quality, durable resin material, with the Playaboule logo molded in.  Because the balls are translucent the LED light can shine through making the balls flash and glow in the dark. Simply rotate the screw-cap to turn the light on/off (see video) to activate your lighted bocce set. 

Note: Replaceable Alkaline batteries are pre-installed and are included for testing purposes only. A fresh set is also included. Batteries can last for much more than 20 hours. 

We designed these balls as a solid sphere then drilled and threaded a hole in the side for the LED plug. Being solid, these balls are almost unbreakable.!!! You can crash the balls together without fear of damaging the balls or the LED components.

Great recreational set and perfect for evening play! At the beach, camping, back yard, etc. When the sun goes down don't stop playing, START playing with this glo bocce ball set.

Note: Even though there is a rubber washer to help seal the ball, fine sand and water may still get into the balls. They are NOT sand, grit or water proof.

(Eva, 12-Sept-2007) I love this set! I had never played Bocce before, but my daughter and her husband have played for years. They told us how they played night bocce with flashlights, but it was still hard to find the balls. For the heck of it I went online and came across Playaboule. They were so excited--they brought them to our house when they visited and we are hooked. These are high quality, dependable balls that you can throw or roll without worrying about breaking the LED light. I tried to find a less expensive set for myself so I saved a few dollars and ordered a set from S*******y. They were so bad I sent them back after using them only once--the lights kept going out. I've since bought the larger glow set from Playaboule and they are fantastic. Buy with confidence, you won't be disappointed! Eva

Absolutely love it! We played bocce ball on the beach in Cancun. We had a blast and wanted the game for home use. The lighted set is SO much fun. It's great to be able to play after dark when it's not so hot. I purchased the non-flashing plugs and I'm really glad we did. After using the flashing plugs we put in the non-flashing plugs and we greatly preferred the boules not to flash. Also - Playaboule's customer service is excellent! Susan

{chris june 08} My wife and I purchased this glow bocce set about four months ago and we have had absolutly zero problems. This set is virtuly indestructable, we have bounced them of of pumice blocks, concrete, trees, fences ect. They are very bright at night, the only problem is that when we pull the set out with some freinds we end up playing till the wee hours of the morning and the batteries seem to last a long time. A definate must have! Thank you PLAYABOULE!!!!
